What it is used for
Oxycodone and Acetaminophen Tablets is indicated for the management of pain severe enough to require an opioid analgesic and for which alternative treatments are inadequate. Limitations of Use Because of the risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse, with opioids, even at recommended doses, reserve Oxycodone and Acetaminophen Tablets for use in patients for whom alternative treatment options [e.g., non-opioid analgesics]

Acetaminophen, USP ……………………………………………………………... 325 mg Inactive Ingredients The tablets contain: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized starch, and stearic acid. In addition, the 2.5 mg/325 mg strength contains FD&C Red No. 40 and the 5 mg/325 mg strength contains FD&C Blue No. 1. The 7.5 mg/325 mg strength contain FD&C Yellow No. 6. The 10 mg/325 mg strength contain D&C Yellow No. 10. Oxycodone and Acetaminophen Tablets contain oxycodone, 14-hydroxydihydrocodeinone, a semisynthetic opioid analgesic which occurs as a white to off-white fine crystalline powder. The molecular formula for oxycodone hydrochloride is C 18 H 21 NO 4 ∙ HCl and the molecular weight is 381.82. It is derived from the opium alkaloid, thebaine, and may be represented by the following structural formula: Oxycodone and Acetaminophen Tablets contain acetaminophen, 4'-hydroxyacetanilide, is a non-opiate, non-salicylate analgesic and antipyretic which occurs as a white, odorless, crystalline powder.
